What Foxfulness stores about you, where it is kept, and how to remove it.
1. Who is responsible
Foxfulness is run by [legal name of the owner or company]. Address: [postal address]. Contact: [contact email address].
2. If you use Foxfulness without an account
Nothing about you is sent to our servers. On the web, your exercises, entries and settings are kept in your browser's local storage. On Android they are kept in the app's own storage on the phone.
3. If you create an account
We store the following in our database, linked to your account:
- Your email address and sign-in details
- Your profile: display name, language and time zone
- Your exercise settings: order, colours, and any custom names and texts you give the four pillars
- Your entries: the day, the value and any note you write
- Your app settings, such as theme and list options
- Your tier (free, Supporter or Smart) and, if you pay, the identifiers the payment provider gives us for your customer record and subscription
- If you use AI insights: the questions you ask, the answers you receive, and counters of how many you have used
- If you vote on the feedback board: which posts you voted on, and whether up or down. Other visitors see only the totals
- If you send us feedback by email: your email address and what you wrote
Notes are free text. Please do not put anything in them that you would not want stored.
We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled by the payment provider on its own pages.
4. Where it is kept and who processes it
- Database and sign-in: Supabase. Region: [hosting region to be confirmed].
- Website and server code: Vercel.
- Payments: Stripe, once payments are switched on. They are not switched on today.
- AI insights (Smart tier only): when you ask for an insight, our server works out summary figures from your entries and sends those, together with your question, to an AI provider (Anthropic) that writes the answer.
[A list of sub-processors, their locations and the international transfer safeguards has to be added here after review.]
5. Cookies and local storage
Foxfulness uses a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie that remembers your language. Guest data lives in local storage, as described above. This version contains no advertising trackers and no analytics trackers.
6. What we do not do
- We do not show ads.
- We do not sell or rent out personal data.
7. Your choices
- Export: the Account page can give you a copy of your data as a file.
- Reset: the Account page has an option that deletes your entries, notes and settings and keeps the account.
- Delete: you can delete your account and its data yourself. The steps are on the delete account page.
- Other requests, such as a correction: write to the contact address above.
[Your legal rights under the applicable data protection law, the legal bases for processing and the right to complain to a regulator have to be set out here by the reviewer.]
8. How long data is kept
Account data is kept until you delete it or delete the account. When an account is deleted, our log of payment events stays but is detached from the account. Your votes on the feedback board are deleted with the account. [Retention periods for payment records, backups and feedback emails: to be confirmed.]
9. Children
[Minimum age and how it is handled: to be decided.]
10. Not medical advice
Foxfulness is a habit tool. It does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing you enter is reviewed by a health professional.
11. Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. [How users are told about important changes: to be decided.]
