Delete your account and data
How to delete your Foxfulness account and the data stored with it. No way back, no drama either.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to Foxfulness on the web or in the Android app.
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
- You are signed out, and the account and its data are removed from our database.
If the account has a running subscription, it is cancelled first. If that fails, nothing is deleted and you are told so.
Cannot sign in?
Write to the contact address below from the email address of the account and ask for deletion. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, including your email address
- Your profile: display name, language, time zone
- Your exercise settings: order, colours, custom pillar names
- Every entry and note you logged
- Your app settings and theme choices
- Your AI insight history and usage counters
- Your plan record
What may be kept
Payment records may have to be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. That means the invoices held by the payment provider and our own log of payment events, which stays but is detached from your account. The exact period will be stated here after legal review.
The Contribute page keeps nothing of yours: the board's posts are written by us, and your votes there and on the languages are deleted with the account.
[retention period for payment records: to be confirmed]
How long it takes
The account is removed from the live database when you confirm.
[how long backups are kept: to be confirmed]
Only want a clean slate?
The Account page also has a reset option. It deletes your entries, notes and settings and keeps the account.
Used Foxfulness without an account?
Then nothing was sent to us. On the web your data lives only in your browser: clear the site data to remove it. On Android it lives on the phone: clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes it.
