Research

Research, graded honestly

Every exercise page ends with research notes: real references where the writer is sure the work exists, and clearly marked drafts where it is still the author's own observation. This page explains how the notes will be graded.

The planned scale

Four grades. The last one exists so that “nobody has really tested this” can be said out loud.

a
Several randomised trials or meta-analyses that point the same way.
b
Some controlled studies.
c
Small or mixed studies.
f
Folk wisdom. Included because it is harmless and people like it.

House rules

  1. Every factual claim gets a source you can open: authors, year, where it appeared.
  2. Every page says what the exercise will not do, and who should skip it.
  3. Every page shows when it was last touched.
  4. No page will say that an exercise treats, cures or prevents anything.
  5. A placeholder is marked as one, never dressed up as a finding. No citation is ever invented.

Who checks it

Still open. If a page has not been checked by someone qualified, it will say so.
